Projects
Recognizing the enormity of the challenges our society faces, the Missionary Ministry of One Family (MIMOFAM) is dedicated to making a lasting impact through our campaigns and programs wherever we can go. We are currently in progress in the south side of Haiti, especially in Port Salut; upon the mountains located two isolated communities in which we are working to improve the lives of the peasants. Below are some of the critical areas help is needed.
Community Church
One of the communities had a little church. Unfortunately, it was destroyed by the recent earthquake. Every Sunday they do service in a tiny house. Now, the peasants are counting on the organization to help them build the church back and make it remain as a reference for the village. Education & Outreach
On January 10th, 2022, we opened a learning center named the children's learning house where the kids learn about technology, the English language, and civic. We plan to extend this program to an elementary school with a range of technical courses in the next coming years.
Community Development
With this initiative, our goal is to promote opportunities for those in need by planting seeds that will produce food to eat and export. This is going to be a great push for the national production of the country; With access to the right resources, people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential. The first step we did was the creation of a peasant group named Konbit Peyizan Yon Sèl Fanmi or Peasant Group of One Family in charge of the seed.
